Chelsea Hotels
A celebrated area of west central London, Chelsea is bordered by the Thames to the south and by Knightsbridge and South Kensington to the north and northwest. Once known as London’s bohemian quarter, it is now one of the city’s most exclusive areas, with the handsome residences arranged around its garden squares owned by financiers and celebrities.
Chelsea FC have played at Stamford Bridge since their founding in 1905. They have been English champions three times, and have won the FA Cup five times, the League Cup four times and the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup twice. In 2003, they were bought by Russian oligarch Roman Abramovich.
